Saitek blues

  I am trying to get an x45 working, all seemed well until I set the views using the newest saitek programmer (2.7, downloaded from web). the view keys got confused:( . So I set the views using AH stickmapping. Well, it seems the biggest problem I am stuck with is that AH always senses one of the stick/throttle buttons as being depressed, which keeps some stick functions not working and not programmable. If i go to stick properties, the buttons are NOT depressed  . Any tricks or knowledge on this? I like the stick's performance, I note much less bounce while shooting compared to my MS precision pro2.

win2k
p4 1.8
dx 8.1

Any help appreciated....thrustmaster may be next in line...sheesh, the pains and cost I go through just to play this game!

thx, bockk

I can send you my profile when I get home tonight, if you'd like.  You'll have to go back to the AH default keymaps though...the hats I did not have  a problem with.

thanks for offer Ripsnort! I saw your posts on saitek sites. I am running win2k and couldnt get the dam thing to work in AH. Works fine when not in game (???). I took it back and got the thrustmaster afterburner..its kinda like a gi joe toy, but it works, and the programming software actually works. I even somehow jacked up my game last night, had to download and reset everything.
