After reading the first 637 "Who's the best" posts, I just can not imagine why quarterly "fly offs" can't be arranged in a formal setting?
I mean, you could've re-re-re-written Robert Shaws book, "Definitive Air Combat Tactics".. with the endless, repetitive diatribe ranging from: Aerodynamics, physics, conjecture, personal insult & counter-attack, yada, yada, yada..
Isn't it possible to have a simple "best of 3" H2H ,, co-alt, similar craft flyoff ladder??
Then a "Best Gang" run? IE: 3v3? 6v6? etc?
Proof's in the pudding type quarterly rank of the best, through the worst ~
But,, then again, I s'pose these boards would STILL BE FILLED with posts by..
