Navy Question
« on: September 13, 2002, 01:18:35 PM »
Been meaning to ask this question a long time, but I keep forgetting. So before I forget again ...

When you see U.S WW II naval Destroyer crews at their battle stations in the movies, why do one or two dudes have an over-sized helmet? (The ones that makes them look like the character "Dark Helmet" in the movie "Spaceballs."???) They seem to usually be stationed near anti-aircraft guns...

I always felt Francis never received the recognition, and Oscar, that he deserved.
