I was watching the Science Channel, some show on computer gaming. Anyway, they did an interview with Michael Dorn (Warf) which through screen shots implies that he flew in AirWarrior, and that he is still a flight sim geek. He also happens to be a pilot and the owner of his own T-33.

Any other celebrity dweebs that we know of?

I think I remember hearing that he flew under the name "worf" in WB way back when.  I believe he almost came to the '97 con but got called at the last minute to go read some part or something.

That'd be cool if he was here too, but I'm sure he'd want to remain unknown so that dweebs like me wouldn't start talkin Klingon to him :D

I remember hearing a rumor that Robert Downy Jr. used to fly AW between bumps of coke.

Steven Spielberg flew in WB at least once every couple of weeks for at least 1 year. A good Friend of mine has done some work with him. Said good Friend also played WB 'back in the day'.

Spielberg is big into WW2 Aviation.

And, a million years ago (~ '84-'85 is when I saw him personally, I was still in H.S. at the time), you could often find Robin Williams with his Son at Pacificon at the Dunfey Hotel in San Mateo (I used to compete in ASL tournaments there). Apparently Williams and his Son were (are?) big into Napoleonic miniatures type wargaming.

read an article a few weeks ago that Robin Williams is a net junkie.  Plays games, chats, all that stuff.  Don't remember where I read the article, though, sorry.

Hell, hblair's a celebrity.  They know him well on that BMW board I hear.  ;)
