I checked out FinRus10.

Looks great!

You need to fix a few things

1: click on water not zero, It found 40 vortex's ( you'll need to fix those

2: click on error reporting and about 10 fields are clipping the tiles

mainly all these small fields, to fix this goto each field Void ( the runway) and move it so the end of the runway is perfectly butt up against the grid ( see attachment)

Thank you Nuttz!

I didn't know that runaways must adjust so exact! I do them and waters to 0 level, too.

I am making couple of Railways and roads to Knights. Must I put convoy or train all the airfields and VH's to support them? Is it necessary?

And Nuttz, where is Perdonia, I didn't find it from World Atlas? ;)

In my photo i attached you see "object report"? You NEED to click on that, it will open up another window, there you will see a tab that will check all errors in the map. it checks many things, fields having no maproom, anything on an uneven tile, objects that cross a tile, as well as many other errors. IF there are ANY errors HTC will make you fix them. NO object can cross a tile or you get clipping. IF  ( see pic in last reply) one side of the runway doesn't touch or butt up against the tile edge then the other side is overlapping the tile, thus object crosses a tile and you will need to center this. Most default objects in the editor will center , but MANY do not, you need to manually center them, not close, but EXACTLY!!! Also objects CANNOT be on a tile that is not completely Flat in elevation. Another error i got from your map was no train, trucks or barges were set to the roads/rivers you put in the map. You don't have to put any resupply roads in at all. You can supply any or all fields it's your preference. Perdonia is a  fantasty map. It was taken from an aerial photo of some eastern part of Russia but was changed so much for gameplay it is made-up or a fantasy map now:)

Maps don't have to be of real places, very few places are good for gameplay especially for a 3 sided war in the MA. I prefer "fantasy" style maps over real geographical places, unless it's a senerio.

In this example you'll see the when in the Terrain mode, your Blue Cross will give you the X, Y and Z coordinates in Feet of its position.  Y = Altitude and isn't needed in helping centering your Fields.  10.24 / 10.24 grid is the center of the Terrain.  The center of this grid is X= 0 ft , Z= 0 ft.

So as you can see, the small Airfield placed here is not centered properly.  The Runway gives you the information you need to tell you this.   The whole Airfield is 123.444713 ft West and 29.418451 ft South of its possible centered position.

Here you can see that I got the Field centered in its X postion ( East to West ) with the help of using the Snap Box Spacing.

Ok I understand now. Your snap-box system is very good to space the airfields, Pokie. They are sometimes very difficult to space visually, because for ex. small field runaway is almost as long as the grid square. Now my fields are centered and not crossing grid lines!

And Nuttz, I have used Object Reporter, of course. It is good tool to check errors and look all the objects in map!

Trains are coming to railways, no panic! :D I have made the railroads first to their historical places. My soon coming trains have only one Guncar, so they are not so difficult to shoot down now!

Thanks to both of you again!

hey, besides the clipping probs, what else is wrong with having fields go over the grid lines a bit?

Do they cause CDTs?

Just as you said BenDover, the only problem is just the clipping problem.

But its so easy and quick to center the Airfields, why not do it.

nope...
USe "snap" that will center most fields.
Be careful if you manually move the field , because all the objects on the field will be off, INCLUDING air/bomber enter points. So try to Grab all the objects on the fields also when you move it.

http://www.accesswave.ca/~tscott/AH-stuff/AH-Editor&Stuff/ObjectGroups/CenteredFields.zip

All the fields listed here ( doesn't include the new field with version 210 patch 8 ) are pre-centered.
Make sure that the SNAP box is checked and that you have 2640 entered in the SNAP SPACING box.

Click on the center of the grid and then place the field.

Centering fields is the easiest thing to do in the editor.  Putting the steps into words is harder :).  You can center any field thats been placed off centered in 60 seconds or less! ( 100% DEAD ON )

The number in the snap spacing box represents the distance between each red cross movement ( in feet ).

2640 means 2640 feet, that means if the snap box is checked and 2640 is in the snap spacing you can only place objects in multiples of 2640 feet.

I'm gone to try once-in-for-all to make up a good doc. that will help place object or object groups any where they want.

As it happens, i searched a bit more w/ different keywords after I posted and came back with nutzz's reply. Snapping to grid b4 u place the field does it 100%

Note to you experienced guys. THe forum is getting huge, and scanning for topics is becomming more complicated. I try to use  the terms I see in the editor such as "runway touches grid line" I was suprised when that turneed up 0 results.

Is it possible to submit complete help files with special message headers ??
 i.e.
Task groups :how-to
Plane skins :how-to
field placement :how-to
ect..
I know not every message will be a "help file" but I bet something like this would save you guys repeating a lot of anwers. AS the game community grows, Things will only get more redundant and complicated if we dont take some steps to organize out knowledge base.
anyhow.. have a look at my new project., and dont forget to visit our web site
