I always knew la7 is porked in AH. After checking KGB archives, I found some information I am going to share with you all.

Please pay attention on the charts. Left one is from AH, other is a real comparison tests, which were taken by Red Army test center in Monino in June of 1937.

It is clear, that AH la7 climb rate is absolutly porked. Interesting, that after la7 test ended, it was found out, that testing pilot got some booz with him to this test flight. After counting vodka bottles (each 1lb), it was found that it was 1000 bottles. Easy to calculate, that la7 had 764lb's more, than shown on testing data.

It is clear that fact was knows to HTC, because they modeled 1 vodka bottle in la7. But clearly that is not enough to fix the problem.

nahhh, the vodka used here is not the standard issue vodka of the era. Therefore, there is slight deviation here
