Man, that was close... being without my message board was suffocating!

I applied for AGW but haven't been approved for posting.  I wonder if its because I'm not registered for Warbirds III. :p

A few thoughts:

(a) BMWs aren't entry-level sports sedans.
(b) isn't it curious that the AH BBS went down right around the same time that the "Tactical Air Squadron" fraud was being rehashed?
(c) The off-topic forum at AGW isn't nearly as intellectually stimulating as the O'Club here.

I do believe it stands for Alt.Games.Warbirds.    I could be wrong though.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

That was a mis-print, the title of the article says "Entry level luxury sports sedans", and apparently thats the market niche they tested.  Call it what you want, and let the auto testers call it what they want. ;)

Ah! Ok.  Missed that part farther down in the thread.  I did like the response that included the Nissan Xterra, though. :D

rip... you will be glad to know that the m3 engine lamp is done and looks really cool in my living room.  I put little lights in all the little nooks and crannies too (they were left over when I converted the dash to autometer guages)..   The dash is much cleaner now and easier to follow.

You are right... them germans use good steel!  I burned up about a dozen sawzall blades cutting off the back of the roof and trunk area.   I am fitting the shortened S10 bed now and should have it all welded up by this afternoon.   I got the old 38 alfa romeo looking grill out and cut the opening for the 65 chevelle grill.

Those shocks and springs look kinda wimpy for the big block so I may have to cut all the front suspension out.  It's a lot of work turning this bmw into a good car but it will be worth it.   I may even paint it silver.
