ladies and gents,
This morning I took a d25 outta a27 for a cap over a8 which was under attack from rook a7. I teamed with a couple other bish and we help surpress the horde rooks back to a7. During the melee, I had three kills, was low n slow, and was rtb when I noticed a dot high on my six. Everyone else was engaged and I knew this was gonna get ugly for me. Well, sure enough it turns out to be a la7 high 6 and has a bead on me like no one else's business. I level at approx 10ft / 175 IAS and wait for my prey to close high E. At 1k on my 6, I roll right and pull a high G turn straining to keep vis without blackin out, I hear the thwap, thwap, thwap sounds of la7 cannons striking the water beside me. Now wing level and extending north I see the la7 rope upwards and determined to silence me on this round. I'm 200ias here and the la7 presses the attack, at 900 out I pull the stick back and nose to the sky then roll to the right and pull another high G turn. With just a little speck of light visible, I look down momentarily at the yaw indicator and slam my foot on the left rudder which throws my nose in the opposite direction and I then pull a blackout turn to the left. I hear the screaming sound of the la7's cannons ripping through mid air and then a large boom with water spraying all around......then silence.
I look back knowing what had just happened, on the screen is a message indicating "you have just killed shane #4" woohoo!!!
I waited for the enevitable, YOU hack, warping, steenkin, looser p47 brick driver!! but it never came, I'm not sure if i'm more in shock of no response, or living through what would normally be a given kill

Anyways shane, i've been there and done that too many times to remember, life's a beech

heh. i'm trying to remember if i was simply going too fast or more likely chopped throttle, knowing that i was dealing with one of you 56th jug geeks, and got too slow and augered in surprise when i couldn't pull up after missing/losing sight of you.

i generally only whine abt gangbangs, ya know?

i will let people know if i see them warping (and asking otehrs in area if they saw it too if anyone is around) whether i win or lose.
