My personal opinion on why the bombs or R4M rockets havent been added on the 262 is this.  It would be the impossible jabo to intercept.  my .02 cents.

- a light 262 will still intercept it
- who will use 200 perks to drop a couple of kg's, possibly diving into laser guided ground fire?
- you can do almost the same with the Arado at much lower cost!

Remembering back to War Nights in the old DOS Air Warrior days, the 262 was the prime score potato fast jabo; there were some tank farm targets close to the front where you could take off, drop your two eggs, destroy five to twelve fuel tanks, and land -- all within five minutes. If you could manage to survive to the last twenty minutes or so of the event, a few pilots cherry-picking some Sturmvogel runs could throw enough points into your side's score to turn the war around.
