So F1 2002 and Grand Prix 4 are both out...

Anyone played both?

Impressions?

I haven't played both, but I have a copy of GP4.  It's got very nice graphics but it is a buggy piece of crap.  Many people report various stability problems with this game.  It also uses a very primitive menu setup (similar to the original GP circa 1991) and the physics are nothing special.  So I can't recommend GP4.  I don't know anything about the other title.

Good to know...

The general views I'm finding are that F1 2002 (EA) looks better, plays better, and is just all around better...

Need to pick up something new to try that wheel out on. ;)

Just tried the demo for F1 2002.  It looks pretty solid.  I'm guessing since the demo says 'work in progress' that the full version runs a bit better, looks a bit nicer, etc.

I've got a lot to learn about F1 racing though... I'm not too good yet. :)

Going to go pick up a copy of this now.

I dunno... that seems like an awful lot of work just to play a game...

Looks like the Falcon 4 of Formula racers... :)

I have a copy of GPL on the way to me... for free!

A few questions:

Can someone point me towards a 'F1 Racing for retards' guide?  I know very little about it (as in, I can probably recognize an F1 car, but that's it).  I'm just curious about the best way to drive 'em, etc.

Do F1 drivers do left foot braking?  The cars are all rear wheel drive, yes?

...and that west-racing.com site is a different game, no?

Where do I get 'all the patches' for GPL?

WSC in full or part and anything belonging by contract to the previous publisher(s) was amputated/canned, Racing legends is their new software.
