would like to fly for allies
« on: September 20, 2002, 06:59:26 AM »
I'm not sure how to "upgrade" myself from walkon to someone with an option to fly for the allies this Saturday. Could anyone boot my butt in that general direction?
Thanks in advance

Ask for invite any allied squadron flying this event, and dont forget to register for medals-avards

U can try to do that earlier on BB or be 30 minutes before frame start, swich to allies and ask on main country channel CO.
Possibly  chn 145  will be for walkons, ask there too.
If that not works, ask any squad member for permission to join his squadron. He redirect your request to his own squad lider.

Mudder,

there's 2 ways to guarentee yourself a place amoung the Allies.

1)  Find a squadron flying as RAF and get yourself a guest spot.

2)  Be the RAF Commander or one of his staff.  Either email GA and see if he wants an XO or email me and put your name down to be Allied CO in future frames (as and when GA is either relieved of command or retires).

Well that was intense. There was a distinct fog-of-war in MY cockpit. I apalogize for getting seperated so easily, especially in the last hop. Good leadership though, I always knew what needed to be done, just couldn't always be in the right place at the right time. Thanks again and see you next time.
