Congrats HT. Now the real work begins. The exploration has just commenced and the best time of the year to fly is here!
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Congrats, and welcome to the club.  Just remember, if you find you thumb reaching for the "hat" switch when you want to look around you, it's easier to just turn your head.

WTG old timer.

Flying, as you discovered is a breeze, just remember to keep an eye on:

Airspeed,
Altitude,
Pitch,
Bank,
Fuel level,
Where you are,
Where you are going,
Your proximatey to class B,
Conflicting traffic.

Watch all that and you will have no problem.  :)

Keep at it, it becomes easier as you go and more fun.

WTG HT!

Now tell us your ratio of landings to patterns...

L = P - perfect patterns
L > P - Bounced a few in
L < P - Took a few bad approaches around without landing

;)

Everything is SOOOO much better and easier without an instructor onboard, but you sure hear a lot of beeps, squeaks, groans, vibration, and rumblings that you never heard before...
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.
