Quote: "Thats not fuel cans on the back but exhaust pipes covers. Strafing Tiger with .50s is a total waste of ammo."

And I'm sure that little pop-gun mg on top of the turret will quickly rip the wing off any plane with just a few pings.

But the artwork is surperb! Nice job, and thanks for painting it in a color thats easy to see from the air.:D

Minus - Sure Panther G is better than the Tiger I, but then the IS III is better than both of them. Which is itself superceeded by an T-72.

So what exactly is your point? Or to paraphrase and re-contextualise a well know phrase:

"Give them an inch, and they'll demand a mile."

The only way a Sherman.M-4 could kill tigers.......

It would use Incenedeary shells(phosfurus)..The tank would be set on fire from the oustide.....well u can guess the guys on the inside would no twant to stay there.....

Just read it from personal accounts (DeathTraps)..written by the maintnance Captain..(i dont remeber his rank,,but he ran toejam...

Many times his sherman gys would fire Phosphorus shells..thee 75 mil Armor piercers would bounce off...

So BURN BABY BURN!!!!!!!!!...

Will we get phosphurus rounds???:)

There are several things inacurate on this model - but they should be easy to fix for Natedog. The AA MG is one of them. Most likely early Tiger I did not have AA MG because it lacked the fittings to do so.

The simplest thing would be for Natedog to redo a late cupola, make the gun mantlet a later model with the reinforced gunsight hole area. The Tiger would still be innacurate for lack of zimmeritt bt it would be a consistent model. :D

Stanga,

I think Tiger I is better than Panther G :)

Think about it.. Tiger I was produced from 1942, but Panther G from 1944.
In 1942 allied tanks were tinfoil and had peashooters.

The only advantages Tiger I has over any Panther are:

Better side and rear armor.
Lower shilouette.
Slightly better HE effect.

In everything else Panther is much better, especially frontal armor and mobility. The Panthers 75mm has markedly better AP performance.

Nice looking model, no doubt. Hope dammage model is changed also for gv's :) Will hate to lose it to osti fire, or to .50s :)
