Well considering the Early Tiger only had very thin armor on the top and bottom (somewhere around 15mm I think, but am not sure.  It's been awhile since I had my Ryton Tiger books out) I'm sure it will be vulnerable to the standard array of weapons on the airplanes in AH.

Now as far as the AA Machine gun, the early cupola that is modeled dinna have the AA machine gun mount.  Only after the incorporation of the low profile cupola did it contain the AA mount and ring.  Hey, and if this tiger is supposed to be an early version, does it have the snorkel fitting on the back? And if so, can I use it to get across a pond or river?

My questions are:  Is this thing gonna live up to it's history or is it just gonna be another tommy cooker from a 75mm PzIV gun from head on shots?  100mm frontal armor will definitely stop a 75mm AP round.  Tiger tactics gonna work in here too, like turning the tank 45 degrees to the attacking gun to present the worst impact angle?  Somehow I doubt that it will have any effect if done.  Oh, the most important thing.....how much is this beast gonna set us back?  We've all got millions of GV perks I would imagine but I'd still like to know how much it's gonna cost me when a Spit V strafes me and blows me up....Anyway, I like the model and remember Grunherz, not all early tigers were equipped with smoke dischargers on the turret.  Those that were usually had them on the upper hull as well.  What about the pistol ports or escape hatches?  are they modeled correctly?  Who knows....there's no serial number on the tank nor a date of manufacture so there's not way to tell is there?  If the binocular sight aperature on the mantlet is thickened, is that a late/early Tiger I or an early/mid version?  Again, who's to say....The important thing is that it live up to it's history (except the engine breakdowns and track failures)  The damn thing used 2 and 3/4 gallons of fuel per mile...notice I said gallons per mile, not miles per gallon...It takes alot of fuel to get a 56 ton behemoth moving.  If it's used as it should be in the  game, it will be unstoppable by ground vehicles.  Now you tiger buffs will know how this tank is supposed to be used.  ( I know how I'm going to use it)  :D

Early Tiger I had 25mm top surfaces, later Tiger I had a 40mm thick turret roof to help defeat big anti tank aircraft cannon.  So it should be impervious to MG and 20mm fire either way.

I do find it interesting Sikboy hasn't squeaked about "so it begins" in the A20G dorsal MG thread or the 5000 P47 or P38 whinining threads.  I guess only allied vehicle fans among AH customers are allowed to submit their feedback to HTC staff.

Yeah, it was great to see someone work a whine about the Ju-88 in there lol.

But actually, I thought Superfly addressed the issue. Interesting how those threads all found there way to the A&V forum too. Not like your little boo hoo in here.

BUG,

Why clog HTC's server with multiple copies of that image?

Just link to a copy of it you already put on their server.

Correct!

However it has everything to do with the regular allied whining here.
