I used to like Hblair, then he shot down all three of my Lancasters last night.

Wasn't hardly fair, either.  Generally I can handle one stEEnking 109.  He probably cheated  :D

Oh Boy...

Figured we wouldn't be able to play nice even on this thread.
Well guys, here are a few of nominations:

FLOSSY - First encountered her in the AW days, a genuine good egg, and highly helpful, especially considering the stress of being one of the few female types in the online flying community.
JORDI - Another one of the incredibly helpful yet unassuming guys.
TSORDE - Ok, he's a squadie of mine, but another one of the truely meek, modest, and helpful guys in the arena. I've never seen him blow his top, flame people, or engage in unsportsmanlike behavior.

- SEAGOON
SEAGOON aka Pastor Andy Webb

Oh my goodness... thanks, Seagoon, I am extremely flattered...  :)  I do enjoy helping people, and if it makes their game more pleasurable, then I am happy.  As for being one of few females.... I've always loved the fact that I am!  ;)

Imagine that, after you shoot someone down, and decide being the brilliant fellow you are, you should start handing out unrequested comments deriding someone elses tactics, you got squelched. Go figure.

Doesnt necessarily make me less humble, but means I dont care to listen to unwanted comments.  My post about being humble in this thread was a joke and most would recognize it as such.

Over the years, I have killed many players who did something I thought was unwise, I dont know that even once did I try to then lecture someone about it.  Everyone makes mistakes, and most learn from them all by themselves.  :)

BTW, I loved the squelch command in WB. Means I didnt have to listen to the rif-raf.

I can Second  Flossy and Jordi as being outstanding member of the comunity...

Lets see if I can toss out a few others....

Leaders that command my utmost respect...
GhostDancer
BFD  (dawg)
FTSeeker
DEMAN
APDRONE
Stink
Wild
Hammer
Krusher

All of the above work well and treat others well, They help as needed and normaly preform beyond the call of duty.  I seldom see them flame anyone and do everything they can to bring honor to themselves and there squads.

The Entire CM team is contributing a huge emount to this comunity often with little personal recognition.   Tilt and Aub deserve special mention here too.

Some Guys that deserve a nod for just plain being Good Eggs in the arena that I encounter regularly.

Papa4
Chooch
BUSH  (nobody says hello to you with as much entusiasim)

Another couple of guys I know from Scenarios that have been great to work with
Kisters
Lizard3
MAG1C

Another person that has been a real help to me over the years, but presently isnt flying, is Dawn.   I hope one day you all get the pleasure of getting to know her, she is a huge asset to any comunity.

Oh yeah... Every member of the CAF too ;)

There are others too, they just are not popping into my my poor excuse for a brain right now.   Those above all deserve recognition for being great members of the AH Comunity.

Thank to you all for everything you do.

Well I'd have to say swager is a pretty mellow gent, hearing him on voice is like hearing someone on valium.  'cept he's really posessive when when it comes to his pink tutu won't let anyone touch it unless he's in it.

Hehe, thanks for the nod Grimm, but I think, by definition, you have to have something to be humble about before you can actually BE humble.  Since I'm still pretty stinko at this Sim, I'd call myself appropriately quiet :).  I'd like to tell you I'll get better, but I'm just a tired old man, and can't throw myself into this Sim like I did AW back in the day ;).

I do VERY much enjoy the Community that has built up around Aces High, and love to fly around and shoot the chit.  I've become what I like to call a 'Social Flyer', trying to carry on as many conversations as I can without getting my tail shot off.  I don't care much about my K/D, but I do track my H/D (Hiyas per Death).

BTW, Grimm certainly fits the humble definition, quietly going around behind the scenes organizing and running some of the great events we love to participate ... Thanks Grimm ... can't wait for Midway!

Cya Up!

Not only the greeter.

When i first came in and I didn't know how to use the controls or anything..instead of Silat telling me to go read the manual he musta took a couple hours of his time getting me setup with my views and such and navigation just so I could play.

and for several days after that I could always shoot a private "how do I do this?" and he's always help me immediately.

and he was never sarcastic or mean about it or anything just entirely selflessly helpful.

I'd never forget that =)

and also one more who doesn't fly right now.

GE

when I went to my first con, Icouldn't find any computer that had my rig on them that I could fly on so I was mostly standing around watching tillI found GE's machine..he didn't know me from adam but let me monopolize his machine nearly the whole con with no problem at all.

I won't forget that either.

to you both =)

I'm lucky to be in your squad =)
