because it takes tones of effort to implement but is extemly rarely used.
Thats was HTs reason 3 years ago anyway.

Bback when I was still wearing my flight sim diapers.. ( i wear training pants now) .. I used to play on AOL .. All we did was up in the party bus. I'd like to see that again. Would make an interesting squad mission... everyone crammed in one plane. :p

Two people can gunn the buff currently.. the gunner and the pilot...  Seems plenty for me..

As far as I'm aware Strange only one person can gun a buff. If someone joins you as a gunner you cannot operate the guns anymore.

(I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) ;)

I think the reason is that if you allowed multiple gunners on a buff you might ruin the fun of some of the fighter pilots you shoot down.   The whole point of the 1.10 release seems to be to weaken the bomber to the point that it can't possible effect fighter pilots.  Creating a deathstar would kill the fun for all those milkrunning fighter pilots looking to inflate their score with some easy kills.

Koed needs more potent bombers!

I remember most fighters diving and fleeing when a couple of B26's came in.

It would greatly improve the multiplayer experience if we could load up a B17 with half a dozen players.

Agreed, the armour on buffs should be replaced first though.
