Sorry, don't have too much history of the aircraft except that I know it came from Colorado back in the early to mid nineties...I was to engrossed in the aircraft itself and didn't pay much attention to Ed, our tour guide :)

LOL Straffo!  I ask them how they want it cut, and it varies, but they like the "butch" cut during the summer.

Locally, a haircut for a boy costs $8, $10 for an adult.  Multiply that by 3, and you get $26 a month.  I saved $312 a year by buying a good set of clippers.  If ya need a haircut, I'm the guy to see. :D

You must have some Canadian blood in you Rip (or Scottish).;)
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

Thanks, that's good to see. Is that a new one or did they just repaint Fifi? Looks like a solid restoration.

Very nice Rip, thanks for sharing. (I'd never seen pics of a B29 interior before)

Charon, this is a ground up restoration project.

GTO, they have ALOT of 'em.  too many to name, though this one and on occasion ,the "Boeing Bee" B17F (The one used in Memphis Belle movie) are the only two you can actually tour on.  They have purchased the Arizona Champlain collection, and currently adding onto the museum to house those 50+ WW2 aircraft.

Thanks for the comments, my boys were estactic to say the least.

reminds me of that long-ass trip from the cockpit to rear gunner in an old B52 I used to work on.
a 'catwalk' instead of a  tube though.
