Here's the scoop...bombed A8 and is was very well defended, both by F4s and Osties.  Lost 2 engines, fuel leaking...tail wheel shot off, left gear dead, elevators destroyed and the list goes on and on.  Only way I could get her home was to play with power...more power, she nosed up...cut power a bit, nose lowers.  I was pretty proud that I survived the pounding I took, much less nurse her home and land it!  Whats funny, if you look real close, is there is a slight rise before the runway...I managed to ding that rise, which bounced me up (and killed an engine)...and put me squarely on the runway, which killed the remaining engine.  PHEW!

And in true irony, for every smart thing you do, an equal, and opposite reaction, happens.  Gee, too bad I didn't film this...

Trekking down runway in Arado with 100% fuel...ready for rockets...then you hear that sickening <CLICK CLICK> sound and VOILA, Craters and pieces of Arado go everywhere.  WHY it did that, I dunno...havent changed my Arado config from the prior sortie.  But at least I was up to 154 perk points when it happened, cuz if that zapped em all away, BOY Id be suuuummmm mad!
