Older gamers (50+)

Hi everyone, I'm a stranger.

A friend of mine will be writing an article for Shift magazine (http://www.shift.com) about older (ie, 50+ y/o) gamers. Trouble is, he has to find them first. Since I'm a nice guy, I'm helping him out a bit.

Now, on another forum, it was mentioned to me that a few of you folks would fit the bill. If that's the case, can anyone interested email me at Jarkaris@si.rr.com?

I'm guessing that the window of opportunity on this is only a few days, so feel free to ignore me after this Friday or so.

Also, I do indeed realize this is a rather odd request.

So someone saying we're a bunch old geezers eh? Who are they? I'll hit them over the head with my walking stick! :)

Our old geezers are the best old geezers! ;)

I may be a few years (6) from 50 however, THIS is the game I've been dreaming of since I was a kid. It's a chance to fly the missions I heard about in the 60's. It's also a way to pay tribute the the may fallen airmen that didn't come back and have a chance to tell their story.

Ahaha, you know, my original comment -does- sound a bit sinister.

The truth's far more benign, though. I discovered this site after posting a similar, more generalized request on a forum that I frequent. The guy who mentioned this site either played with you folks, or is a former/current member. Annoyingly, the original forum (forums.somethingawful.com) is down at the moment, so I won't be able to check for an hour or two.

If you go to http://www.vicer.com theres a few 50+gents there.
The sc forum on that site has one cantankerous soul who games everything from Space Ships to Tanks.  Great bloke named SC- Greybeard would most likely love to assist.
