Had a great time tonight (3/19/01)

Man.. we were getting hit from all sides and hitting right back.  I'd fly a sortie, replane and want to do something different the next.  I drove a panzer, I flew JABO, I flew defense, I flew offensive cover, I captured a base, I sunk a CV... it just seems like I did it all.

So <S> to the bish, knits and rooks that were on.  The action was fast and fun.

Well said AK, last night was a blast.  I flew Knight and at 8pm EST, we were really getting squeezed hard....then we took some turf back from Rook and managed to hold our ground with Bish.  P4 was up for grabs all night...we'd win it, we'd loose it, we'd win it back, etc etc.

I played until 2am and wondered where all the time had gone!

BD5, after we took 2 effortlessly, did you ever get that British Jabo mission off to A8?  I had to log because of RL committments.

The mission to 8 didnt happen since so many folks were already enroute.  So, everyone pitched in, without needing me to see the mission through.  I grabbed a Lancaster and several people did awesome escort/cover for me.  As I approached 8, I saw Sac1 sitting in his Gooney a safe distance away.  Thanks to the JABOs already there, the FHs were already dead.  I went in at 5,000ft (since I was told ack was down) and bombed the VH and BH in one sweep.  Fighters took care of the 1 or 2 defenders and Sac1 swept in for the capture.  Then it was on to 16, and then 1.  P4, as I mentioned, was off and on all night.  I would have liked to have seen us get A11 so our HQ wasnt out in the open like that.

Overall, we did well.  I was playing til 2am EST and we'd regained most of the lower left hand corner of the map!

Yep, tada!  C'est moi

Closed the LePaul account a few months back, went to re-up and couldnt use that name again...so I lost my dang perkies too.  So, made a new account and then Dale/HiTech tells me I CAN use LePaul again, after racking up a bunch of perkies as BD5.  AHH, the madness!

Thanks for the cover, we really socked it to 8 and 16 nicely.  I hammered that F4 and was amazed I didnt see any smoke or anything.  Someone else hit him 2 or 3 times and I got the kill.  I guess the server was generous last night
