“When a girl has sex and gets paid for it, most people call it prostitution and think of it as ugly,” the ex-madam writes. “It is really an act of caring and consideration . It shows that the man cares about her bills getting paid, and that she has nice things like cars and clothes….things to make her life easier.”

That's pretty whoopee funny! :D

"The difference between prostitution and marriage is that, in a marriage, you don't get sex on demand."

This has been a pre-emptive response to the question "what's the difference between prostitution and giving your wife money to pay the household expenses?" :D

Tsk tsk tsk.  Discussing prostitution.  That's a new low for these boards...isn't it?

No wait...!  I didn't mean it like that!

Victimless crime. Make it legal.

In fact I would like to volunteer my services as the first Commisioner of Prostitution in California. I would help regulate the quality of the product and make sure the standards of our great State are never compromised.

Don't stop there. All consensual "crimes" should be legal.

Heh, some feminist brought up the idea of making prostitution illegal in Denmark.

The response has been lukewarm. She argues from the point that as long as it exists, women will never have equality.
This would probably work in Sweden where PC'ness is more strictly enforced, but I doubt it'll work here.

Who is being exploited here? Is it the poor woman, stomped upon, seen as worthless, a piece of meat?

Hm, models are objectified too. We should ban that.

Or is it poor men suffering from testosterone poisoning getting ripped off by cunning women when they're at their weakest? I tell you: as long as there is prostitution, there can not be equality for MEN!

:D
