GF-AC Cockpit control System...
« on: September 25, 2002, 12:35:53 PM »
I was just browsing through FlightSim Central (ordered a Cougar finally) and I came across this little toy...

GF-AC cockpit Control System

Has anyone tried this stuff out yet? Is it any good? It looks like it might be pretty cool...

Requirements: 1 USB Port for each unit, Windows 98, 98SE, Windows Me, Windows   2000, or Windows XP, Flight Simulator 2002, Flight Simulator 2000, Flight Simulator 98 or Fly! II.

So does this mean it will only work with those flight sims?

I'm not sure, Rip... kinda why I'm asking.

The GF-AC works with Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, 2000, 2002, as well as Terminal Reality's Fly! II. Other flight simulator programs will be supported in the near future...

This was a little vague. I'm guessing if the program supports multiple separate inputs (like AH does), maybe it would work...?

I do fly MSFS2002 once in a while, but not enough to justify something like that. But AH...

I dunno... something about actually having gear and flap levers kinda caught my curiosity. Maybe I'm just bored :)

I'm waiting till we get a house, and see if the wife can run her cavalier(92, used to be mine) till it's totally kaput.  Then I'll grab a seat(probably the passenger) and use that for the chair:)

Right now, we just don't have the room.
