I am sick of...
« on: September 26, 2002, 02:59:03 PM »
the idiots on welfare living in quite nice apartments, having enough money for a car and other niceties while I live in a rat infested run down shoddy room with neighbors who live here as well not because they're on welfare, but because they use all my Golly-geened money on drugs.

I am sick of hearing them whine that the state doesn't *give* them enough money to live a 'decent' life, when students get less than a third without a proper option to work and thereby get more.

I am sick of the fact that if two parents are both on welfare, then if one was to get a job it'd have to be an extremely well paying one for it to be profitable. All while the responsible work and slave, giving some 80% of their income to the state to squander away on ridiculous welfare ideas.

I'm sick of hearing these blabbering idiots complaining when their socalled 'education', which consists of 'learn to know yourself', 'develop inner strenght', 'therapy through guitars' and other things that should be the responsibility of the individual to seek out and pay for, not state, suddenly is something they don't get additional funds for attending.

I'm unbelieveably sick of idiots not being able to comprehend the problems associated with the demography of this nation - more people getting retired (i.e getting money from the state while ever fewer get into the job market to pick up the bill. Their inability to understand that when more want more from less, either taxes must go up or there must be cuts in public spending is stupifying.

My stomach curls when I think of their inability to use their brains - something that's caused by their personality rather than their genetic disposition. Why cannot these people USE their brains and try to understand how things are CONNECTED, instead of seeing each thing not only as an isolated thing, but also only from one perspective.

Their wailings regarding how hard their poor wretched lives are sicken me.  When they again and again informs us that they're not responsible for the position they're in, I get an urge toreach for a gun and kill them.

I am sick of their insistence on having more personal freedom than the taxpayers yet still refusing to take the responsibility that comes with it.

That they're uneducated morons that have squandered their lives is no one fault than their own in a country like Denmark. They've been given a hundred chances by the state, yet are crying that they have not been provided for.

At the same time, our elders sit silently while money is being directed away from 'em to pay for the extravagance of 'the poor down and under'.

Our students limp through best they can - knowing that if they work too much, their student loans will be pulled from under them, and knowing that if they do not work, they'll be under the existence minimum.

Yeah, it's sickening. 90% of these people aren't down and unders. They're just a bunch of sweet freeloaders that play a major part in ensuring the we'll continue to have the highest tax pressure in the world for decades to come.

Thank you. I've now vented and will probably refrain from killing my neighbor with a wooden spoon (paid for with honestly earned money).

:)

Price for liberating Europe (twice) : $157,000,000,000.00

Listening to Santa grouse about the mess they made of things over there again...

StSanta!

Move to Maine (USA)...lowest wages, highest taxes...and an attitude of "gee, its not fair you make more than them, lets even the playing field....tax tax tax"

We've also got the highest density of gun owners per square mile.  I wonder how many more tax increases until we start getting rowdy and using em...

My sister just got back from visiting her boyfriend in Denmark. Anyway she told me of these huge luxury apartment complexes that no ordinary Dane could afford due to high taxes, which the government then took over and gave out to I think it was North African welfare abusing immigrants. Very sad....

BTW Santa can you explain to me the Danish beer commericals with that famous Croatian actor as a bartender???

BTW#2 Are you her boyfriend you little toejam?  ;)

Ah... don't get too upset about it StSanta... its the same all over.  Its just frustrating when those folk live next door.

I have an 18 year old girl living next door to me that just had her 2nd child.  She decided to keep this one so she is getting single mother benifits from the state.  The program she is in provides her with a car... she decided to get a convertable.

I've heard people in Britain going on like this. They believe all the crap they read in the the "little" papers with big tits on the inside.
We used to have 3 million unemployed here and everybody said they were bone idle scroungers (unless their boy happened to be one of them). Funny thing was, once work was available the unemployment rate dropped! wierd

Also there used to be a final solution for "welfare abusing North African Immigrants" or people of that ilk who everybody blamed for their ills. Can't remember what happened to the guy who thought of it though.

Anyway, don't worry. It sounds as though denmark will soon have a nice rightwing government which will close all your industry while giving great tax breaks to city fatcats and tell you the wealth will "trickle down" (money is the one thing that defies the laws of gravity). The people in the "luxury" appartments will be sitting on the street where you can kick them easily and you won't feel any the better for it.

Good luck:D

Ah Santa, can you add this to your list...

I've been working as a freelance for the pas three years (about 55% of my income goes to the state... before the year's end taxes are taken again. most of this is supposed to go to the State's welfare programme).

to make things short, it hasn't turned out as planned, and I'm finding myself looking for a job as perm or contractor at the moment... anyway. I spend a week getting in order with the unemployment office, healthcare, etc... (ever spent a week in "line"?). Only to receive a letter stating that since I haven't worked as permanent in the last threee years... I am not allowed any social security for at least six months.

Of course I'll find something before that... but I'm still wonderin where my money went to

ROFL Hangtime.

This toejame gets to me.

There's a show on tv where the reporters go over these poor people's misery...how poor they are and how they must have help.

Then they live in big fat assed apartments, have motorcycles and cars. I look at where I live - a run down place full of druggies - and THEY complain? Money for nothing and chicks for free.

Eagler, lol was afraid you were gonna say that :D

Maine sounds good. As soon as the economy picks up in the US, I'll seek a job there. Preferrably one where I probably shpuldn't carry a big gun, but do anyway.

Grunherz, you're partially right. The danish government got an obligation to feed, clothe and house any citizen. Immigrant/refugee families are normally quite large and housing isn't available in abundance. Some families are housed in expensive apartments or houses, presumably until other accomodations can be found. Well, they don't exist, and these people need a place to stay, so they get rather nice homes. Good for them, bad planning from the side of the government.

Fogold, unemployment in Denmark is around 8-9% total. Amongst immigrants, it's 50%. Amongst Somalis, 90, amongst Palestinians, 92. So the previous government (socialistic social democrats and their ilks) who were in power for 8 years clearly didn't deal with it. It seems giving them more money for doing nothing than what they'd get if they worked doesn't intice them into actually applying for jobs.

And WTF does someone always pull up the Hitler argument whenever someone suggests that MAYBE peole ought to WORK for a living?

Our centre-right government so far have done a pretty good job - unfortunately people fail to realise that there are more recipients and fewer tax payers, something must go. They've managed to at least stop the taxes from increasing, which I am appreciative of.

I dunno. It just seems wrong to me that the 'unfortunate' and irresponsible have a good deal more than the responsible - in almost all regards except responsibility.

Saintaw, your situation is a perfect example of how good and decent people get utterly screwed while those lacking any will to take responsibility for their own lives are pandered for. Sickening.

Sometimes I feel a desire to move out into some desolate forest and live there, far away from all the moronic sheep and their herders...

Hm, I should prolly join of of them Montana Militias or something.

Maniac, it sure is a whine. I mean,  the post doesn't do anything btu critizise and won't lead to a solution.

But it's a true post :D
