I think this year's Christmas was my best ever. On Christmas night, around 10:30, I got engaged to my girlfriend. I think I made off pretty well, don't you? Just wanted to share that...<G>

 ;)

Congrats!

I live with 2 gals...girlfriend and her *very* cute friend.  Life is hell every 28 days!

I swear I'd get to use the bathroom more often if I removed the mirror from there!

I had a pretty good Christmas present last year. My son was born at 0710 on the 25th of December 2000.

Texace,

Congrats to you and your intended!  :)

My wife and I became engaged on Christmas Eve as well. Ever since then we have  an aniversary tradition where we do it all over again each Christmas Eve including the Champaigne. I had a bottle with me that first time to either celebrate or drown my sorrows.  :)

This little "tradition" helps keep things in focus and gives a nice new meaning to the holiday. I hope you try it and that it works out for you as well. Little things like this mean a lot to the family life.  :)

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Congratulations, Tex. And Hort, at least you'll have something to keep you busy on those sleepless nights.  :)
