Not a troll, not trying to kick up any dust.  Just letting any interested parties know that our during our convention we will be going to the Pensacola US Naval Air Museum on the 10th about 8:00 a.m.  Should be a great trip and if any of you  Aces High guys wanted to go, thats when a huge group of Warbirds guys will be going.

Also, I guess the Rogue Gryphons will have a hospitality suite going in one of our rooms at the Clarion.

This is not a conversion attempt, or to fuel a "who's better" fight, but just to let anyone interested in having some fun with a bunch of like minded prop-heads.  I will hope that this post is treated with the same spirit that it was made.

You really should have cross-sim meetings over there :)

The Finnish virtual pilots' meetings are all cross sim wide, everyone is welcome and everyone participates. We got under same roof WW2OL, WarBirds, Aces High, IL-2 and even CFS2 online pilots. And that's how it should be everywhere :) The sim doesn't matter, the people do.

I believe he is posting here because there are 4 times as many FORMER WBers here as there are current WBers  in WB itself.

Normally, I would have moved this to the O'Club, but I would like to take this oppertunity to express my thoughts.

First, Hedu, I see from your many disclaimers you must have felt some concern about posting this here.  For that I apologize.  While it would have been more appropriate to post this information in our O'Club forum, you should not feel so many disclaimers were required.

I have only been a member of the flight sim community for a short time, compared to the many that participate in this genre, at large.  But I have come to witness the passion many people have about this hobby.

In that passion I see and hear from many people from all over the world how they feel about one thing or another.  I have witnessed everything from complete discourse to utter joy as people express themselves, either in the cockpit or on a bulletin board.

I revel in this passion myself and have respect for those who participate in this sometimes passionate, always competitive hobby.  However, with this passion comes responsibility, and some people do forget that, myself included.

No one, in any community, should be made to feel concerned about announcing information that could be beneficial to others.  I would like to think the Aces High community would be tolerant and respectful of anyone who had information to share about events concerning the genre.

Hedu  and thank you for letting our community know about this.  Many former Warbirds players are here and I am sure they appreciate it as well.

True Skuzzy, but just jump on AGW and mention anything about AH, typically you will attacked more violently than a fox stealing the prize egg laying chicken.

A bit irrelavant Dago.  What happens at another bulletin board is really none of our business, regardless of who posts what or how.

Someone comes here to post, and they have helpful information, or just wants to talk a bit.  They should not be sitting there worried or concerned how they are going to be treated.

It is a simple matter of respect.  I would like to think our community would be up to the task.

So let's try to be *better* then them :D

308 (AH) Sqn RAF belongs to the Northolt WIng along with the 303 (WB) Sqn RAF. We are living together from the begining of the AH... and i must tell ya'll that i can't imagine living without the WB guys! Sometimes they are trying AH.. sometimes "we" are trying WB just to have fun with flying together. We also have few pilots flying actively in both sims.
It's almost 3 years now and i NEVER seen ANY quarrel about *this*. Why? i think we have a lot of respect any sympathy for each other... and we simply want to live in peace :-)

I'm sure that it's gonna be hell of a fun at the CON!
