Hey guys - this was actually posted on a different forum, but I seem to remember hearing about similar problems, and since this is the group to ask, I thought I'd ask his question here and see if anyone could help him out.
Minor problem with my joy stick. Same is a microsoft 3d pro, an oldie but goodie. Recently upgraded my system and now using win xp pro. The stick works fine but sometimes I will boot up a program and it indicates that there is no stick connected, when there was and it was configured through the game.
I go back to the control panel, it indicates the stick is not connected or wrong game port. I click on properties and then back to set up and the the program advises the stick is connected and ok.
Go back to the game and everything works fine.
Next time I boot up it seems to forget the stick is connected.
This happens on a few of the older games I am using but the new ones all run fine.
Any thoughts?
