how/where do I create/edit the file that displays text to users upon entering the arena ?

if you are hosting offline first go into the ah folder creatre text file and type want you want and save it under whatever name you want.

They go into ah set your room up the go into the clipboard / set up then upload motd and type the name of that text file you saved.

The motd= message of the day is not terrain specific. Any one with cm powers can change it.

Confused.. I've tried it offline and in H2H hosting mode and can only find the show MOTD button but nothing happens.
Can't find an 'upload' command.

Your right just hosted a room and cant get motd to upload.

Sorry mate the advice I gave you above would work if you ever become a CM

I am a ct cm and thats how I upload my motd.

I assumed it was the same.

Put some text in a file, and save it in the AH root directory as motd.h2h
