I agree that would be a superb addition! 1 hit on a HQ and BOOM lights out :) drop that in the middle of the 5 clustered FHs at large base and BOOM no FH's :)

They have one on display at RAF Coningsby - got a picture of me stood next to it. It's a big bomb :).

Would be nice on land if blast effects were modeled. Prolly find more use in the game as a suicide attack on cv's and cruisers.

It would require a compleatly new Lancaster Varient to be modeled howeaver, the one we have could not schlep it it to the air, Be fun has heck to drop though:)

Would be cool for sure.

However, when the lancaster arrived, and brought with it the 4000 pounder, I believe HTC said that the 4000 pounder would be the biggest bomb they modelled.

Don't take my word for it as I might be wrong, and tides change so HTC might have changed their minds.

Superfort didnt carry grand slams!

all HT would need to do in order to have a lanc to carry it.. is delete top and nose turrets, and hollow out the bomb bay - hurrah! lets go bomb some osty convoys! :D
