Hidden fleets, suggestion

If you are against hiding fleets, or supports it, you shall agree that this part of game is quite annoying, because fleets can be out of the game for the very long time.

Suggestion: if port the fleet belongs too is captured during 1 hour by other country fleet goes back to port. If that port is recaptured even for short time by the country which currently control the fleet time countres reset, and again requires the whole hour.

It shall work. With it country which captured the fleet will need to keep it around the base or throw it into action to use it because it will be lost anyway.

Fariz,
Do you write assembly/instalation directions for various products?

Fariz, I am against hiding fleets. I am also against limiting ownership to one hour without control of the supporting port. You have seen yourself how difficult it is in obtaining cooperation and success in field captures. One hour simply isn't enough time.

Too, what's to say someone has to keep the fleet near the port? That makes the fleet rather impotent, doesn't it? When all this went down in the MA, I considered taking control from the newbie that had it, and pushing it to use at the front. I didn't, because it was his initiative that acquired us the fleet to begin with. He should be allowed to use the fleet in whatever role he decides, even if that means using it as protection for a rear field area.

How many times have the enemy hidden the fleet from us? How many times did I have to sortie out on multiple missions just to find it? I didn't complain. I knew what they were up to.

The Cat & Mouse aspect of the fleet should remain as it is. What needs to be rectified, is the underhanded, time-saving method of discovering its location. It does not hurt them to be without the fleet for the length of time it would take to find it and get it back. Retrieval, should have a price and that price should not be set by the buyer.

How would you feel about working hard to get the fleet, engaging in multiple defensive manuevers to avoid it being destroyed enroute to a field you wish to assault, and finally arriving only to have it wrested away be a sneak of the port?

The 'network of spies' needs to be done away with. That is the only acceptable fix.

Ive read this 3 times:

Suggestion: if port the fleet belongs too is captured during 1 hour by other country fleet goes back to port. If that port is recaptured even for short time by the country which currently control the fleet time countres reset, and again requires the whole hour.

It may be the graveyard shift im working, or I'm just stupid, but I'm totally lost on what Fariz is saying.

Make the fleet realisticaly hard to defeat and there will be no need to hide it except from other fleets.

I think the fleet should be kept hidden.
Its quite nice a surprise when a gang of ships come out of seemingly nowhere and attack a base.
I personally beleive we should also have a carrier capable troop transport plane that could complete base capture.
I also want that we are given the ability to control individual ships seperately.
It would be nice to keep carrier in backwaters, with 1 or 2 frigates or destroyers (or whatever they are), and let the cruiser (with BADASS GUNS) go ahead with the remaining frigates and attack the base.
This enables 2 things.
1)- Torpedo bombers have a better chance to get closer to ships avoiding AAA.
2)- The carrier doesn't have to worry about kamakazie style suicide LANC's and the lot, (cause they never get past the first line of frigates).

Just my 2 cents......  :D

I like the idea.

Right now there isn't really much incentive to use a captured CV, to defend a captured port or to defend a captured CV (when you can just hide it).

An idea to add:
How about buying "SPY" info from the server for, say 50 perks???
Would partly solve the spy problem too hehe.
Could call it ENIGMA perks...  :D
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Thanks, more like third though.  :) My first two are Azeri and Russian.

Yet I want to improve my English. Once when I used it to order a pizza I got a fireteam instead.

I have noticed some strange things as of late with the CV's. There are guys coming over from other countries and getting in a PT boat and sailing along with the fleet. They seem to be radioing there buddies the fleet location and when you change the fleet heading they send on a direction that works for the incoming bomb attack direction. The reason this was so noticable was that the fleet was redirected and the incoming planes changed course and vectored in and on same heading.

I would like to see the following

  • A LOG of every one that pops in and changes the fleet settings that anyone could view. (Unless the CV captain remains in control there is no way of determining who messing with the fleet.)
  • If you change to a different country you can not take control of a CV for 24 hrs.
  • Squad Chanel 4 can not be seen from another country.(Suggestion- Whatever country the CO is currently flying is the only chanel the Chanel 4 can transmit too.)

I am not going to mention names here just say that this type of gameplay to me takes the spirit and the fun out of the game.

Thunder, I had it exactly yesterday, when one of the Duckweeds switched from bishops to knights and attacked fleet, which I take control of before to attack important field. Considering that I used 2 long lanc raids to prepare this attack, it was frustrating, though the guy died like 10 times trying to sink it.

Doubt anything can be done about it.
