The usual story. I'm out in WV seeing the folks. One of my less-favorite great aunts died a couple weeks ago, and I got detailed with going through her stuff. We've got a few outstanding expenses to take care of (*cough* embezzlement from the senior center bible group's flower fund *cough*), and well, she didn't leave much outside of fifty boxes of plastic xmas ornaments. I did find this here coat and hat, it belonged to her late husband, an electrician, technician fifth grade who served in company C of the 1905th Engineer Aviation Battalion from sometime in mid- to late-1943 until January, 1946. There's also a scrapbook with shots of Ledo and Burma roads; my guess is India. Anyway, when I get back home, I can figure out exactly where his unit was; but what I was wondering is if anyone has an idea of what is currently the best way to sell such an item, and approx. what will my poor aunt get from it.
Any clues?
ps.
we've also got a photo of company M, 10th Inf. from ca. 1919.
