custom skins.. how bout custom speeds?

two things..
people have been talking about custom skins, but how can I do it? (do i need the terrain editor?)

other thing is, since you can adjust almost anything in arena and field settings, is it possible to adjust the speeds of aircraft for offline play?  Wouldnt be historic but I'd love to fly faster than the speed of sound in my "spiffed up" f4u..

Ermm, no. You got the point wrong.

 This isn't "edit-it-all" like CFS.

 It's basically editing the textures linked with certain terrains. Anything "physical" is impossible to be altered.
