No I don't want any of you to hold my joystick and throttle it :D

I am looking for a joystick and throttle holder, I believe I saw one at Animal's desk (in one of his posted pics) but I have been unable to locate one nor find where to get info on one. Any help is appreciated.

Is that an X36 by Saitek? Also, if you have X45 and if that is X36 - so, you could contact Saitek's tech support of your selected country (for US - it's support@saitekusa.com) - they will send out suction cups for your throttle and joystick for those products. Please mention which sticks you have there and your address. They'll ship it out to you for no charge.

Besides, I like what Animal did to his stick and throttle - maybe I'll make one like that someday :D

What Animal has is called a H.O.T.A.S.S. and it was produced by Fighter Systems, Inc. However they have been out of business for a couple of years and you can not buy a new one from anywhere that I know of.

I was working on a redesign of the stand but ran into a huge problem. There are several people that have made different ones over at Frugal's World . You can go into the forums and search for HOTASS or HOTAS stands and probably find several different setups that people would be willing to send you there instructions on making it.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the replies! TG I was referring to the apparatus that holds the HOTAS gear. I will ask soome people how to make one, or maybe get inventive and make one up myself. Again thanks, goes to show what a great community this is.

Animal and myself were lucky.  I got my set up about 2 years ago paid around 100 bucks ordered it on Monday I wanted by friday.  It has outlasted 3 joysticks already and wasworth evry penny to me.  They did not get enough bussiness which is sad.

From my recollection they did this on the side of there wood working business.  I wonder if they got enough response and commitments for orders they would start up again, or at least sell the plans to build it.  I will email them and ask to seeif they are interested in either idea.  If they are I will start a thread or supply there information for those who may be interested.

I searched for and finally found then sent off an email to the makers earlier this year and they indicated they were not going to try it again. I have since lost the address due to a couple of formats. I think the cost of wood has gone up in bulk quantity for whatever reason so it might be a part of the reason.

Yes that is my stand. I bought it from http://www.fightersystems.com back when it was in service, costed me around $80 and its been one of the best purchases I have made for my PC.

The only way you can get one is by getting a used one (and I aint selling mine :p  )

I can, however, take many pictures of mine if you want to try to make your own.

Any more pics would be appreciated, so I could get an idea as to how to build one myself - it's not rocket science, ya know.

And if you have any nudies of Leelee Sobieski... oh wait, what am I asking here? This is an flight forum, not a porn website.

Danke, Animal - and I presume you have a digital camera handy? wished I didn't screw up my fiancee's old one - put in the wrong power plug into it, now it doesn't work - it was cheap though - Vivitar Vivicam.
