Opera has a zoom feature that I like.  It has other things I dont like.  Is there an app, or feature I can use with win98 and IE5 to do the same thing?

Try holding down Control while scrolling your mouse wheel (slowly).

No mouse wheel. Track ball. Is it worth getting one?

Is a mouse wheel worth it?  I go nuts anytime I switch to a non-wheelmouse.  I went through a big paperwork shuffle at work just to swap a perfectly good mouse for a wheelmouse.

Get a "microsoft optical wheelmouse".  Don't bother spending the extra $$$ for their intellimouse explorer, just get the basic "optical wheelmouse".  It costs under $50 and you'll never go back to non-wheel ball mice again.  Logitec also has optical wheelmice but I like the microsoft shape better.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

Just so you won't be disappointed, the IE zoom only zooms the text.  Opera zooms everything.  (I actually much prefer Opera over IE for a lot of reasons.  I don't even use IE anymore.)
