Structure, is an object with no point value but can be destroyed by any country. Ment for use with stuff like bridge where it might be needed to blow your own bridge.

couple of things I wish the TE could do:

select all terrain of a certain height (range)
select all tiles of a certain type (terr0000 or terr0001, etc)

just a wish list :)

Is there any way to select very large areas, instead of having to do things one screen at a time?

The max area selectable at once is approx 40 X 40 miles.

The only other way to speed up tile textures is to use mapmaker or bmp2map which gives certain textures to heights which could save time.

Mapmaker uses areas from the world
Bmp2map uses a grayscale image

Both of these generate a .elv and .typ files

mapmaker only makes 512 x 512 terrains

bmp2map you use a greyscale image, white being the highest alt and black being sea level. In bmp2map you can make any size terrain as well as set max alt up to 25000 ft.

I have bmp2map if anyone wants it email me. Email is in my sig.
