kill the commander gun on the panzer

LOL.. that miserable little pop-gun on the panzer is a useless tease.. had a FW make a half dozen passes at me; I hammererd away at this guy with the pop gun and discovered three things..

1. The damn thing shoots to the left of the reticle.

2. The damn thing is utterly ineffective; the single .50 on the m3 being about 100 times more intimidating. Fighter pilots fly into the panzers popgun's pitiful tinkle with no fear of damage.

3. The Main 75 mm Gun tube on that panzer can certainly ruin any pilots day. Lends a whole new aspect to delivering a taste of 'old facefull' to a cocky FW driver

I agree, if you get a round in the cupola it should neutralize the gun.

I have been shot down by a TC Cupola.  I don't understand how I got shot down because the couple times I have hit attacking fighters it had no effect.  Add to this the fact that it is almost impossible to swivle that gun effectifly to attack an aircraft.  Once a plane travels beyond the ark, you have to go to the main gun and find them, then switch back to the TC.

I said before.  When your a driver, stick turns the tank.  When your main gun, rudders turn the tank.  Why not when your a TC rudders turn the turret?

Well I scored quite a bunch of kills with the turret gun, my record was 8 kills in one sortie, then I was outta ammo (Ghosth witnessed that)  

Its quite easy to shoot the engine, radiator and pilot, just don't try aiming at the wings, it doesn't have any effect at all.

Being able to move the main gun with the rudders in the gunner view would indeed be great though

I was killed 3 times consecutive with the same tank. second 2 times he got engine and it was that bug around so I could not stop and bailed. Last time he got my wing. All 3 times it was done in first my aproach.

For all other attack against pnzrs I was only wounded once.

LOL, I regularly take wings off with the 'ol top gun on the Panzer. In fact, that's what I aim for and it works well! Just gotta remember to correct for it being off to the left.
