When I lived in Seattle I cheered for whoever the Seachickens and that other ream played against. Same in Chicago, Orlando, San Francisco, etc.
I did like the Tidewater Tides.
Actually professional sports is (in my opinion) a total waste of time. Bunch of millionaire whiners who claim all they want is "respect" and 12 million for playing a game half the year so they can screw off the other half. Billionaire team owners who want 400 million in welfare from the taxpayers to build stadiums that are just big advertisements for insurance companies.
Of course I also haven't watched a broadcast television show in three years. DSC, History, and TLC are the only networks I watch.
I seem to be something of a mutant that way.
In boot camp we did half time for a Chargers/Raiders game in San Diego. We naturally cheered for the Raiders, since they didn't seem to have a cheering section. Darm near started a fight with some low-brow morons who were so incensed we'd want Oakland to win they felt the need to do physical harm to us. I was all for it, personally. That's my view of professional sports fans now, however unfair that may be

Anyway. I might like hockey if anyone actually understood the rules, other than actually KILLING someone on the other team is a three minute penalty. I STILL wouldn't admit I want the Avs to win, though
