Salute to this Community
« on: February 17, 2001, 01:47:00 PM »
From the Musketeers Escadrille, we Salute this community.

Over 75 pilots showed up today for Sniper's Tribute and it was a moving experience for our squad.

I speak for the Musketeers when I say how grateful we are to you for helping us pay a small tribute to our friend.

We also are very grateful to HTC for their help in our tribute and to the CM Corps who let us use the SEA for this event.

<S>

I'm glad everything went well.  I'm upset that I missed it.  I got caught up in work and the next thing I knew, it was already an hour past the event.  I don't know how I let that happen.

Pyro I feel your pain.  I was supposed to be the "missing man" plane in formation and my lame stupid peice o crap ISP decided to die on me today!!!!

I really was the missing man, just not the way it was supposed to be

I just don't understand why these things must happen at such important times.

Thank you to all who were there.  I am proud to be associated with such a fine online community.

Hey Cobra,

I don't know how it came out on other's FEs, but I exited the parade lineup to lighten the load. The first passes were just dots and went sailing across the sky.

Once I exited I could at least see the planes do their fly-bys. Hopefully it helped.

Excellent work though and an honor to be there.

A Big Heartfelt <S!> in honor of Sn1p3r.

A <S!> and a smile to Cobra for a very well thought out tribute.

Lastly, a <S!> to those who were there, those who couldn't be there but were there in spirit, and to everyone who made it possible. That's what makes this such a good community.

Missed it

My Fault screwed up on the time zone conversion

Sounds to have been a very fitting tribute <S> to all who organised and attended.
