Milan Trip...any Aces there?
« on: October 10, 2002, 07:41:22 AM »
I leave for a meeting in Milan on Sunday 13th October.  Anyone live there..or near there.

I'll be happy to buy you a ....err...ummmm PIZZA or something there and hook up for a few drinks.

I also need some help.  Inter Milan plays Juventus on Friday 19th.  On the web site it states that the fixture is Milan vs Juventus.  Which way around do the Euros put the home team.  In the US the home side would be Juventus...I have heard conflicting arguments about European schedules..in other words they say that Milan is the home team.  Which is it please?

If the game is in Milan I would also appreciate advice on how to get tickets and where to sit to avoid any hoolingans...not that I really care, but the wife may join me.

If the game is at Juventus is AC Milan playing at home at that time?

On one of my trips to London about four years ago I had planned on seeing a football match while I was there.  I had the afternoon set aside and everything.  I called the facility in Arsenal about tickets for the SoAndSo v. Arsenal match.  The woman that answered said that she didn't know about ticket availability, but I may wish to ring the stadium at SoAndSo because THAT'S WHERE THE MATCH IS BEING PLAYED.

My buddy gave me toejam for the rest of the entire trip.

Well, its not you're fault Mickey.  The fixtures are backwards in Europe.  The home team is the first team mentioned..in your case "SoAndSo" was the home team.  It is all a plot to confuse non-Europeans.
