I for one am not a P51 fan.. and while the "Pony Lovers" are patheticaly drooling over your newly re-modled and skinned p51(its still the same 51 under the candy, right).

Think of this, the only people who are gonna see this new skins are the folks who shoot you down..:D So bring them on..

hope the explosion effect is good..

I have clipped a lot of spitfire wings - it really doesn't improve their performance ;)

Well....

I like the pony.  It has evolved (been changed into) one of the best non-perk planes in the arena.  This is reflected in its perk point numbers.

The pony is a good plane to get you home if you are in nme territory.  That is of course without a gang.  In a gang, any plane will do.

I look forward to the new colors.  I like to watch the films of me shooting down nme.  Rarely can I get the color scheme/nuance of an enemy plane real time.

Have fun.

A question:

How can the guys shooting down said pony see the artwork? I'm guessing his PC won't upload the modified textures to the server and then to all other users?

The skins and models are built into the terrain.  When you log onto a server (MA, SEA, etc) you must have the terrain being played locally on your machine.  Therefore, you see the colors of the planes.

You see them especially well when you're knife-fighting at about 150mph with full flaps and 20 feet off the deck against some enemy that is about 60 yards off your starboard wing ;)

Yes, but if I re-skin my models will my computer upload this info to the server so that other players can see "my" skin, or is it just like Counter-Strike where my skins only change the look on my end?
