Flea just did a 20 mins video called Dunkirk using the new beta version.

It is 100megs plus tho.
It streams, so if you want to save it. right click and do a save as.
This isnt a plug for ww2ol but his guy has really out done hisself. Worth the look just to see what can be done.

If you want to see something very good try it at

Toxic, psychotic, self-aggrandizing drama queens simply aren't worth me spending my time on.

Excellent video. While I have a bad taste from the game I give kudos to the guy for setting it up. Excellent music and narration.

I kinda like the stuka augering when hitting the ships. Reminded me of Lazer trying to land. ;)

Very cool!

I thought it was excellent. And as said above, the fact that he directed all these players in it is remarkable.

He's obviously very talented. With the work that musta gone into this, it's just too bad that he doesn't have a LIFE!

Just kiddin'. :) Someone drag this guy into AH.

Where do you get this stuff:)

You could use the argument that ppl in ww2ol are more computer savvy and more equipement to produce videos.

You could say that there isnt enought immersion in AH to interestest someone to make a video.

You could say our 3 or 4 guys who do great videos not only play but are avid supporters.

You could say.....point is, you post was nothing but spin.

This video is someone's labor of love with a lot of support from players. I just wanted ppl to see what can be done when someone has the talent and the will.

That was done very nicely.  A big to Flea.  I just can't see myself playing WWIIonline till the game improves.  Hopefully next major patch will be soon and will make the game look and feel much better.

Flea's work is really amazing.

It makes you wish CRS would have similar talent themselves. Thier product can't match that avi in any way and that's just sad.

The avi is, however, very tale telling.

Even the great musical score and background story can't hide the blazing flaws in the game. For example the movement animations of the characters are funniest I've ever seen in any recent game.. The first person view looked like the guy was chopping karate punches while he was running, fingers first lol.

Second thing that really caught my eye was the lack of any explosion effect with gunshots. They kept blasting away with tanks, field guns, nades etc.. But you couldn't see any explosions anywhere. Even the bullets hitting the ground had a bigger effect visually..

Third thing was the eagerness the player was blasting the tank with his rifle.. That must mean there is a flaw in  damage modelling which enables the riflemen actually damage the tank.

It's the story of WW2OL in a box. Great big drama, big promises - but once you get inside you get disappointed. Nothing like advertised..
