Not until the GV armour modeling is corrected so that the Panzer really is more durable and packs a bigger punch with its gun than the Ostwind.  Otherwise, you might as well just use the Ostwind, M-16, and troop transport all the time.  Seems kind of limiting.

Aces High's very first Tank squadron was formed by myself over 2 years ago.  You didn't need to actually "join" the squadron as you traditionally do with a squadron, we were made up of many squadrons, and Weazel made up a nice webpage for us too. We used to meet every Thursday night.  Weazel,Cavemanj are a couple that come to mind that were in the platoon... think we had about 15 members...anyway, after about 5 weeks, we had a hard time getting more than 3 or 4 online for a meet.

The best way to employ a tank platoon in AH is to have a good Air support squadron flying above you.

Man those were fun days!  Nothin like swinging 2 armored columns in a pincers and catching a base unawares like we did back then :D

But, as has been pointed out, there's just too much wrong with the ground war and our armored force petered out :(
