For crying outloud, they were flying p40-b's... sheesh if anything they did worse for the Allies by rolling again, to probably be shot down again, and give the Axis more points.
Guys, things are bound to happen that we can not expect, no need to dwel on them, over all TOD's have been a fun experience, lets not kill it with a massive ball of flames.
There is a 15 minute re-up window to, take care of those who disco or who have problems taking off. If for some reason your squad is jumped, before those 15min, thats one hell of a quick strike, what fun is it to participate in an event that usually runs 45-80 minutes, to be shot down in the first 10? But of course I do understand that those who will encounter them later probably won't be as happy, if they are shot down by that pilot who got a "second" life.
To avoid this, just don't kill anyone before they're allowed to re-up, or if not people try and be respectful and not re-up if they are shot down before the 15 min.

*** EDIT ***
Thought you guys were referring to the Friday TOD, where the Axis had 190a5/a8 and 109f4 vs a p40B this would be a slaughter. Sorry, but I guess my last comment still pertains
