WW2 Fighters revisited...
« on: June 05, 2000, 05:12:00 PM »
Salute Aces,

this may be a little off-topic - or not...

As you may know there has been recently released a utility to extract all WW2F files, modify them and compile them back. Now this offers a great opportunity. I loved WW2F from the start but always thought that the FM did not *feel* right... not speaking off the practical non-existence of stalls etc. ... but it just didn't feel right. The sounds and grafix are awesome and AI was acceptable (well except wingmen   ). So, are there any techies out there with a lot of spare time and enthusiasm to give WW2F a decent FM? Hey how about translating AHs FM into WW2F? As far this is technical possible. So WW2F would be something like an AH offline training mode!?

Been putting this up on the combatsim BBS  http://www.combatsim.com/ubb/Forum52/HTML/000029.html

Hauptmann Erich Hartmann, Gruppenkommandeur, I./JG 52, Russische Front, 1945
