Has the most stringent gun laws in the country. They have used every available method for gun restriction.

Maryland has the third highest, violent crime rate, in the country.

I am not a real big, gun fan.  I don't really, like the damned things.  I see them as dangerous tools. For me, it is like having a Skil saw, plugged in, and laying around.  Not a good idea.  But what I posted above, does point out the need for them IMO.

I live in Maryland, but I bought my handgun before the fingerprinting crap was instituted.  So I am free to commit murder without fear of being caught.

The Maryland electorate is dominated by the counties which surround D.C.  A large percentage of the population works for the federal government.  They are true believers in FDR:  citizens are farm animals who need to be tended by enlightened government, or else they will hurt themselves and each other.  It is a real uptight place, and not just for gun owners.  And the DC area is 2nd only to LA in traffic congestion.

Maryland is about to elect a Kennedy for governor, so things are bound to get even worse.

I recently took a job in Pennsylvania, if it works out OK I'll probably move up there this Spring.   They are fond of guns up there.   :D
