While in flight the other night, I seen a conversation between Skuzzy and some other pilots. Topic was video jidders....
So I asked Skuzzy about this Windows XP user account/ Video jidders problem and he said that I had to give Admin rights to the User account to fix the problem. BTW, thanks for the quick responce Skuzzy.
Now, is it just me or is it kind of defeating the purpose of having a 'user account' on your operating system if you are going to give it full Admin status.
Interent security experts, Steve Gibson at
http://www.grc.com, recommend that if you are running Windows XP that you should create a USER account for your everyday activities on the Internet and ONLY use your Admin account for making major changes in your operating system.
I wonder what part of the Video settings AH is calling upon that it will only work in a full Admin enviroment.
