I'm posting this public appology to the person who nailed me last night over 43 (me, a rook in La7,, he a Knight P51) (names with-held to protect the ignorant).

I was wrongfully, verbally, willfully and phychologically accused of "cheating" ~  Me?  Accused of cracking Dale Addinks binary code? HA!  Like PoinDexter,, plotting n' scheming to cheat at AH!  MOOahahaaa..  Hell, I cant figure out the tip rate at restaraunts~

Here's what happened,, which of course,, I did not film, but wished I did.

There's like 14 million red Knights over our base.. (the last Rook base on earth by the way). Oh well, time to quit anyways,, lets zoom on through 'em in my Lamer-7, and see if I can pick one off (as if it'll do any good).

ZOOoom..  through the red mass at 420kts.  Never saw the P51 on a high perch over me for the past 30 minutes!  He's now 100 ft off my six,, doing 421 kts and hoses me~

He shot out the rudders..  my La7 starts flying sideways,, then,, TURNS COMPLETELY AROUND & FLYS BACKWARDS!

Ergo, the nme P51 is now 100ft, dead nuts in my rearward facing gunsight!  SO I BLAST THE GUY!  Backwards,, in an La freakn 7!

Boy,, was he PISS'T!

So,, of course I tumble from the sky a few seconds later, and somebody got the proximity kill.

Ever happen to any of you?  And, I wonder if this would be actually possible with a real aircraft?

Oh well..

Back to the binary code..

RV6~

Ive got lucky like that a few times.

Major airframe damage, spinning rolling stalling out of control and a plane flashes in front of me just long enough to get some tater sandwich

Never been called a cheater on it though - i figure they're too embarrassed to say anything

Ive seen this happen a few times (yeah, like 3 times.)

To me it is like catching someone picking their nose at a stoplight.  It is kinda disgusting, but in a really funny way.

rv6! nose picker!

side note about the "plane flying backwards" thing....

it actually PO'd me but here goes:

in BF110-g2 grabbing alt to drop bombs on the GV's attacking a base so im pretty slow and fully loaded so im heavy. (auto climb set from takeoff)

along comes a pony about 4.5k above and to the 2 oclock... hes sees an easy kill and inns

i immedatly nose down a bit and WEP to get some manuevering speed (im about 5k above sea lvl water below)

about D1.4 behind me i make a variant of a barrel roll to make him pass through and hopefully try to climb at me.

the second i was inverted my plane spun around ALA that funny video we all saw here from WW2OL. it also flipped 180° so i am now level and facing the opposite direction i was headed.

the problem is my plane was still going the other way LOL

i flew backwards for about 20 seconds before losing all attitude control and stalled all the way to the ocean.

i tried every stall recovery tactic i know... nose down / rudder opposite / full throttle but whatever i did was reversed since i was flying backwards. :(

oh well my 2¢
I don't know what to put here yet.

I was falling tailless in a 110 once, nose pointed at the sky, getting ready to bail when a diving Spit (apparently feeling the need to pump more rounds into my dead plane) set himself up in my sights.  Brap!  Got a kill!

You can't figure out the ammount of tip but read MPH readings into knots on the fly _and_ know the speed of enemy planes' at a rough ballpark figure within 1 knot?

Suspicious!
