IL-2 joystick
« on: October 28, 2002, 05:19:13 PM »
On the advice of mitsu, I got one of the orignal Sidewinder FF pro sticks, back in beta.  As time went by.  I set this thing up in a half dozen different flight sims.  I never had any troble doing so.

Then came IL-2.  I have spent hours trying to get even close to a decent ajustment.  I tried the setting at the IL-2 website. They where worse thatn what I had.

Does anyone know of a profile for this old Sidewinder.

Oh, I misunderstood.

I don't belive in the magic, perfect numbers, theory.  I have found, with other sims, that it is best to just get the thing to the point that it handles reasonably.  Then adjust to the game from there.  I cant even get close with IL-2

LMAO!!!! Heck my wife had to come read your post after hearing me laughing! Good thing I wasn't drinking anything or I'd be needing a new keyboard.  LOL
