Can anyone lead me to the specifications to the types of Torpedoes modelled on AH currently? Trying to search the forums but I can't seem to locate details...

All I know is that the TBM-3 carries an American torp of some kind. Later war than the crappy ones we started with.

The Ju-88 and Ki.67 both carry a German torp. This particularly hurts the Ki.67 as it must throttle back to 10 or 20% in order to go slow enough to have the torp survive the impact with the water.

We desparately need the Japanese torps for the Ki.67.

Hopefully with the arrival of the Kate we will get a Japanese torpedo.

As I stated before in another thread, the Kate doesn't use the same torps that the Ki.67 does. The time in which they were being operated is different. Giving us a crappy early war Japanese torp (crappy by the standards of later Japanese torps, not by the standards of the time) will not solve the Ki.67s issue.

Notes: The F5b was in service from late 1941 to the end of the war with relatively minor changes. To control flight in the air a wooden K3 tail was used that broke off when entering the water. This was replaced in 1944 with L2 which was similar but had ailerons operated via a heavy gyro. The L2 tail permitted increased dropping speeds and heights, the maximum actually achieved was 183 knots from 390 feet (120 m). The differences in weights and lengths in the table above are due to the different warheads.

Currently, the Ki67 has to slow down until about 200 MPH (183knots) to release the torpedo. Too slow IMHO.

Karnak, just out of my curiosity, can you clarify this a bit more?

Mitsu states in Check news...Kate is coming that Kate is capable of carrying the 1 x 800kg torpedo (Type 91 Mod 1 or Mod 2 or Mod 3). From this I think the Ki67 and the Kate shared the Type 91 Mod 3 at least.

Therefore we need the Type 91 Mod 3 (and possibly its variants) on AH. No doubt. And it would be preferable to have the Type 91 Mod 1 and Mod 2 for the Kate. Ki67 never was capable of carrying the Type91 Mod 1 or Mod 2?

I agree that those are the torps we need, specifically the Kai 3 Modified or later.

However, the B5N1 is a 1938 torpedo bomber that ceased production in 1942 and we are unlikely to get anything more modern than the torpedos they carried at Midway.

Later on surviving B5N2s did carry these later torpedos, but I think it a rather forlorn hope to expect anything like that.

I am not lobbying for that cuz that all depends on how HTC wants AH to be.
