Hey, now is your time in your life that you can think only of yourself.  If the relationship isn't great, you can get out of it easily (much better than marrying her, then finding out you aren't totally excited about her).  

You are in charge of your own money.  You can do whatever you like.  You don't answer to anyone right now.  

Go have fun.  Join the military, do something you dream of doing (travel, whatever).  You can be risky right now, in ways you can't when you are responsible for a wife and perhaps kids.  Enjoy life to it's fullest.  

College is a great thing....

I was never in a relationship for longer than 1.5 years until I married.  Now my 13 year marriage feels like we were only married 1.5 years ago! :p :eek:

Just currently frustrated a bit, though of course before everything started to crap out life was great. She even likes AH. (hey dinger, remember that lost c-47 in Afrika Korps?)

1.)  Um... if her freinds dont like you, tough toejam - who the hell are they?  They will make life difficult for you and attempt to convince her everyday about what a horrible person you are.  It is in your best interests to pay to have them assasinated before they cause more damage.  (PS - do NOT pay assassin by credit card)

2.)  Her family doesnt like you?  Tough toejam - are you sleeping with the mother?  If the answer is no, the next question is "why not?" followed by STFU.

3.)  She likes you?  Great - Hope shes well endowed and treats you right.  I hearby quote a line spoken by Silent Bob from the immortal "Clerks" - "There are a million beautiful women in the world, but not all of them bring you lasagna at work, most of them just cheat on you."

4.)  Still not sleeping with the mother?  Why not?  STFU.
