got the machine to work by lighting the fire and turning off the lamp.

Took the cut up pieces back to the security box and installed them.

There are two ways to install the pieces. One will open the lock.

Move the mat by the door....the key will fall thru the grate into the basement. Go back into the other room and move the rug...then start clicking on the floor tiles. They will fall thru and reveal a trapdoor. Then use the firehose to climb down into the lower level and use the flashlight to look around and find the key. Go back up and unlock the door.

hey dingbat just go to the door with the keypad and type 12864.

Or look on top of the cabinet for the floppy disk holder. Go to the computer room and take the pin from the poster and use it on the floppy disk holder to get the disk out.
